Thank you for considering order of Creative Paper by Artisan. We are excited to develop a long relationship with you and therefore hope that you fall in love with our paper.
Creative Paper is premium quality, hand made to order with care and expertise facilitated by our master papermaker. The artisanal nature of the process and time that it takes to gather (and grow!) the materials that go into our paper are reflected in our pricing structure and estimated delivery times.
Before Ordering Please note: Creative Paper is handmade, as such the natural state of the paper is subject to variation and is a necessary component of the product, we love and embrace this and hope you will too. Importantly, we have a strict Quality Assurance process and variation is not a compromise in quality. QA parameters include; specified paper weight has a +10% and –10% variance, paper texture can subtly fluctuate between sheets, colour variance will occur between batches, therefore, an acceptable tolerance between sheets and orders is expected.
The Introduction Packs are a limited edition product and are priced accordingly until we sell out. There are no colours, paper weight/thickness, or paper types guaranteed in any one pack as they will vary. We have tried our best to give you a combination of papers and hope you love them all!
Shipping and delivery windows
We work on a waste-free model so all purchases are made to order, as such, the time it takes to hand-make it, will depend on the qty and our production schedule at the time of purchase. We will email you with an estimated time of delivery once we receive payment of your order.
Once it is shipped, you will receive an email with an estimated date of delivery, naturally we ask that you are patient and thank you in advance for your understanding.
Some items have been pre-made including The Introduction Range which will be shipped immediately and as such will not be available after we run out.
Damages, defects and returns
If, upon immediate inspection of your shipment you believe that there are damaged or defective items, please contact us in writing directly to Head Office within 7 days of delivery date quoting your order number and reason, sending pictures to illustrate is best.
No returns are acceptable without Creative Paper’s prior approval and delivery instructions.
Shipping will be reimbursed upon inspection and approval of faults.
Where possible, returned merchandise will be replaced as soon as it is possible, we cannot accept returns if merchandise is held for more than 30 days after receipt.
International orders
We do not ship international orders currently; however, we are open to negotiating custom orders over $750 with countries holding free-trade partnerships with Australia.

Custom orders
We are always thrilled to work on developing something in collaboration with others. While there are limitations to what we can achieve, we are willing to try if the request is in line with our commitment to quality and ecological values.
As specified, there is a minimum order of $500 worth of paper for custom orders, also, sampling costs will incur as development takes time and there are additional costs if there is a need to make a custom deckle or embossing template. We can break these costs down for you once we have an idea of your idea so, please ask.
At its’ most basic, a custom order might be a preference for a paper weight other than 300gsm in the Artist paper. We can make any weight you wish and hope to be able to expand our range to facilitate this in the future, until then, we can provide you with a pricing structure on different paper weights upon enquiry.
